Our rich history begins in the late 1700s, when our craftsmen were contemporaries of perhaps the most famous American silversmith—Paul Revere. Our silversmiths perfected then passed down their craft through the generations for the next 200 years. In 1915, Old Newbury Crafters was officially formed.
Today, we preserve the art of American craftsmanship in our Massachusetts workshop, using time-honored processes and tools from centuries ago. Our silver is frequently gifted to foreign dignitaries by American ambassadors. It has been presented to notables from President John F. Kennedy to Queen Elizabeth II. And we’ve produced flatware for the Blair House in Washington, DC.
